Catie joined BCA in October 2017, and has been working with children on the autism spectrum since June 2015 servicing New Hanover, Pender, and Brunswick counties.
Catie earned her BA in Psychology and MA in Clinical Psychology and Applied Behavior Analysis from UNC Wilmington, in Wilmington, NC. She received her BCBA Certification in February 2016. Catie has presented posters and discussions at NCABA in Asheville NC, and ABAI in San Antonio Texas and Chicago Illinois.
Catie’s experience in the behavior analytic field began with basic experimental research centered around the study of symbolic relations and language. She then went on to complete an internship treating pediatric feeding disorders. She enjoys working with the staff at BCA to improve the lives of children through function-based, research-driven interventions.
